    Martinez v Ward

If Martinez's gets passed Chavez (Which I expect him to do) what about this fight? He'd have essentially cleaned out the Middleweight division, he's after pound for pound glory what way would be better than moving up one division and fighting a fighter who by some is regarded as the best in the world.

A fight vs Floyd or Pacquiao or even Canelo is more realistic than one vs Ward.

Martinez is small at middle. 168 is pushing it to far for him.

I'd really prefer a fight with ggg before he moved up.

i will say what i said yesterday, i think he beats ward.

Ward has said he isn't going below 68.

I don't think so, Ward has already expressed openness in fighting Martinez (At least he mentioned his name). Once Martinez is recognised as the dominant Middleweight no questions asked fighting the no. 1 Super Middleweight is a realistic jump.

A potential victory over Ward would do far more for his resume too. I mean I don't think he'd win but that's besides the point, if he is looking for cash and opportunity to better his resume Ward is a viable option.

Well, I was talking about weight/size wise. Plus everyone knows Floyd is the #1 guy and Martinez also wants that paycheck regardless of what he says. Everybody does.

No he has to beat Golovkin, Geale and Quillin/Ndam winner before you can say he cleaned out the div. Most of these guys would probably beat Chavez too.
