If we had more chad dawsons in boxing, we would be a hell of alot better off. in the age of ducking, cherrypicking, guys going undefeated forever and holding belts they dont deserve, dawson is a breath of fresh air. the man said f it we will meet whatever demands ward has to make the fight happen ( weight, hometown, smoger ref who always lets inside fighting more than any ref). chad should feel no shame in stopping. if your critizing him you dont box seriously. its a business and a very dangerous one. it wasnt happening for him last night. he fought on way past when someone like ortiz would have called it quits, so dont compare the two ever. he was drained. not his night. go back to 175 and clean out the division. if mayweather or pac had the balls of dawson they would have had a trilogy by now.

I like Chad. he still quit though. if Ortiz gets attacked for not fighting with a broken jaw, Dawson deserves the same treatment for quitting as well.
