When chavez does land tho, it will be interesting to see just how much damage it causes
I hope you're not saying that Martinez will be able to evade body shots as easily as head shots. I understand someone being hard to hit upstairs. But no one can move their entire body faster than another man can unleash body shots. Remember there aren't many body techs in the sport today. Chavez however happens to be 1.

Chavez jr walks in quick sand in the ring, Martinez' lateral movement is very very good, the body shots will start coming late, too late by then it'll be because Martinez will stop more often to tee off on Chavez with combinations, but the first 7 rounds Martinez will be moving and countering while Chavez jr grins and says his shots don't phase him...

They could be playing a mindgame, but I doubt it. Chavez is a spoiled little kid. This was evident to me since I seen the face off between them. One thing I did notice is he's leaving Roach high and dry a lot but he always has Ariza with him. He will be in good shape but that's not the point. The point is his mental preparation. I don't like what I'm seeing, I don't see the intangibles for Chavez to win a war of attrition over Sergio. Couple that with Sergio's apparent determination to make a defining statement, and I see Chavez being stopped. Quicker than usual for Sergio. 8th round maybe.

People say it'll be like Pavlik, no, sergio sits on his punches way more nowadays. And he's out to make a statement.
