    Let's cement P4P legacy: Ward vs Martinez/JCCjr @160

Congratulations Andre Ward, you completely starched Dawson in 10 rds at 168. Put it out there that you're willing to fight the winner of next weekends MW blockbuster between Martinez and JCCjr. This would be your window to many future paydays as you would win this fight easily!

    Let's do this ****

Martinez is a near 40 year old, former welterweight.

Ward should fight Huck or Hernandez

      "near 40 year old"

what the **** does that have to do with anything? he didn't start boxing until his early 20's bro. age is just a number. Floyd is only a couple years younger than Martinez, does that make him a "near 40 year old"?

      "Former welterweight"

Floyd is a former lightweight (even smaller in the amateurs), should he have never fought at 154? I'm talking dropping down 1 division, the same as Dawson did.

There's more money fighting the winner of JCC/Martinez than Huck or Hernandez, and it would (as I put in the title) raise his p4p stock SUBSTANTIALLY

why did I just bother destroying this response? i feel as if i wasted 3 minutes of my life.

Are you denying the fact that Martinez is A) past his best and B) would be SERIOUSLY blown up at 168?

Martinez would be way outsized and outmatched against Ward.

Why doesn't Ward go up to heavyweight and fight David Haye? it would raise his stock substantially, didn't Floyd start as a lightweight?

Why should Ward not fight a small heavyweight like Haye?

I don't think Ward should go up or down in weight. He should just stay at his natural weight of 168 and be the best champion possible. Hagler never moved up or down and is considered a great fighter. Fighting in the wrong weight class can get a great fighter beat. Ask Bob Foster or Ray Robinson about that. I already have Ward higher than Martinez. Ward is the man to beat now. He should rule 168 and let everyone come to him.New challengers will come along at 168.
