For the sake of boxing Chavez must beat Martinez.

I think Martinez is going to be the clear winner personally and itll be his best win since williams. But a chavez win would mark the beginning of a new folk legend; the birth of a real "vaca de dinero" as the next big ppv star. Thats why for the sake of the sport chavez must beat martinez.

Only if he actually earns it. If it's a close fight, then fine. But if it's an out-right gift, I'm going to be real mad.

Which will probably happen if it does go to a decision...

Martinez is a much better face for boxing for the public to see. so it's actually the other way round.

For the sake of the credibility of the sport...Chavez must get exposed next week...and no doubt he will.

Just hope for a good fight and may the better man win. Who cares about the financial implications.

theres a greater chance for floyd to fight Chavez than martinez IMO. so maybe its good for boxing.. martinez got this, but wont be easy..
