He's not learning anything new under Scully, as a matter fact Scully is teaching Dawson how he's not suppose to box. Ward was giving Dawson all the angles to counter a southpaw, and Dawson couldn't do anything.

Dawson is 6'3 with a 76" reach, as Floyd Sr said he's suppose to box on the outside, use lateral movement, and lead with the jab. He is not using his height and reach well under Scully.

dawson was making some basic mistakes yesterday. leaning to the side with his right hand on his nuts. very sloppy. he fought like a dumbass, I thought he would have realised he needed his right hand up to protect his eye after that first left hook.

ward was VERY open to a right hook, but we saw none of that
