Is it me or does Vitali looks like he was preparing for coffee at the dressing room before the fight. He seems bored and just going thru the motion. There is not much to do except to retire.

Charr was on course to touch the canvas. A complete mismatch. Real shame, because Vitali could have picked a competitive retirement fight.

first of all, I have always been a great fan of vitali. in his prime, I honestly think he would have given most previous hw champs some serious trouble, and would have had a good chance of beating (most of) them.

but now that the charr fight is over, I am convinced that it's time for him to retire. he looked very slow today, his footwork was basically non-existant. actually I think it was worse than in the chisora fight. of course, he clearly won both the charr and chisora fight. but - as much as I hate to say it, because I really dislike the guy - haye would beat him if the fight happened today. at the time vitali fought adamek, I think he would have beaten haye quite comfortably, probably by TKO. but not today.

so I wish vitali would retire now - let wladimir and haye fight for the belt (a fight which I think wladimir would win, though it would possibly be closer than the previous one).

I do agree with most people saying that haye hasn't really earned a title shot, but then again, how many hws are better boxers than him at this stage, apart from wladimir?

Are you saying that it was Vitali's doctor who suggested they stop the fight?

I dislike motormouth, but Haye beats every HW except Vitali/Wlad.

they should of let charr go for another round or two anyway ... still can't say I'm surprised at the result we all know who Vitali should have been fighting ... vitali looked slow as fcuk tonight i think he'd have been eating no end of shots if he was fighting haye no wonder haye is gagging for the fight now

                Different situations.

I feel for manuel but it was a one sided beating, he lives to fight another day.

No wonder Haye was confident in fight Vitali, he looks his age now.

yes, that's what I was saying. so for the WBC belt, it should be wladiir vs. haye, because at that point, they will be the de facto #1 and #2.

I think price will be a real threat in two or three years. but he is not ready yet.
