But on a serious note tho, going by THE Ring P4P list I'd put Dawson somewhere in the top 3 or 4. Whether he dominates, KO's or wins by SD, I'd still put him up there.
Beating hopkins and ward is just much more special. No knock on Lopez but thats a hell of a year.

In the top 5 and possibly in the top 2 or 3. Mayweather is my #1 and he is not fighting for awhile. Pacquiao is my #2 and he has a fight coming soon with either Marquez, my #6 or Bradley, my #7. Martinez, my #3 fights next week and Donaire, my #4 fights a real tough guy soon. Ward is my #5 and Dawson is my #8. If he beats Ward he takes Ward's spot at #5. If Pacquiao, Martinez, or Donaire lose they drop below Dawson and if they all lost then Dawson would be #2 behind Floyd. Lots of important fights are coming soon.

Dawson is going to play the bully and take ward's lunch money and shove him n his locker.

He'd be the best fighter in the world, in my opinion. As a victory it would trump anything any active fighter has done, added to his already solid resume and skill, he'd be my #1 P4P.

I would give Dawson more credit if he were to accomplish this then if Ward did

its boxing, nothing is impossible. There are no sure things, i dont see how so many people can count dawson out even at the weight. i understand ward being the favorite but alot of people seem to think dawson has no chance.

Well ward has proven himself pretty well, and dominatedthe super 6 so dawson coming down in weight and beating him handily would be huge.
