    Why Cheer For Ruiz?

for the past few days, ruiz supporters have popped up from out of nowhere. since the week began, ive been hearing "go ruiz go!", "i hope ruiz wins", "im picking ruiz", and all this other bull****.

why the hell do people take the most disgraceful and disrespectful and laughable HW champion's side in this bout? what is it about valuev that you would rather cheer for john the bum ruiz of all people? and what makes valuev a freak more than john the bum ruiz?

i know valuev wouldnt be a very good champion, hes not very skilled, hes not very entertaining, and hes not all that great to look at. but you people take ruiz instead of valuev? why the sudden spark of ruiz popularity over a man who could be the tallest HW champion in history?

valuev isnt really worth supporting either. but dammit, a few weeks ago, john the bum ruiz was one of the most unpopular, hated, boring, disrespectful, whiny, and unskilled HW champions in history and now that valuev comes along, you suddenly jump to the other side of the fence?

i must ask "why?" to all you pro-ruiz people, i say this: why in god's name do you cheer for ruiz rather than valuev?

Why because Valuev has been babied his whole career fighting in Germany meanwhile Ruiz fight any and everybody at any time.Good enough. He is also from nearby my city in Massachusetts.

ruiz has been babied in his career in america. ruiz is so ready to fight anyone cuz nobody wants to be in a fight with him cuz hes a gate-killer.

with as many gift decisions valuev has recieved, ruiz has recieved more... and actually thinks he deserves them.

I'm rooting for Ruiz because he's the only champion out there who will fight anyone, and who I think sincerely wants to unify the belts. If he gets past Valuev, then I think his next fight will be against Brewster or Byrd.

toney's willing to fight anyone, and he wants to unify the belts, too.

why not cheer for toney, the man who beat ruiz?

Imagine if Valuev wins he'll end up like Sven Ottke.

Because first, Toney cheated by using steroids and secondly, Ruiz holds a title.

saying toney cheated in this one fight is totally overlooking ruiz cheating ever since his fight with tua. why he hasnt been DQd for excessive holding is beyond me.
