I think its going to be a good technical boxing match with a few back and forth exchanges. I think at the end of the day, it will boil down to focus....concentration....and there mentalities. I think Ward has Dawson beat in these categories, which is why i think Ward will win the fight. Dawson doesnt focus 100% for 12 rounds and is passive through certain rounds and isnt always concentrating. This will be his downfall i believe. I see it going to Ward on points 116-112.

Ever since this fight was announced ive been changing my mind on a daily basis as to who i think would win this fight. This fight can go either way, but im picking Ward based on my reasons above and sticking to it

For going back and forth you sure have a wide margin of victory for Ward.

      8 rounds to 4 isn't that close.

I also think that Ward will win 8-4, but it doesn't mean that Ward will win 8 rounds decisively. I predict that I'll have at least one even round on my scorecard by the end.

          Sure. I understand that.

I just happen to think it will be closer, and we'll be arguing on who won rounds for sure.

If you go back and forth it's usually like 115-113 either way a 2 round margin not a 4 round one.

I hear what your saying but Just like Kiaba360 said, although i think ward will win 8 rounds all the rounds wont be decisive. There will be close rounds but i think overall, Ward will win 8 rounds. Its still gonna be a close fight though.

How do you see the fight going?

I get what you are saying and judging will be a factor too. What the judges like versus us.

I see Dawson winning a close one but Ward stealing it on the cards.

              115-113, 113-115, 115-113.

Part of me like you has been going back and forth.
I just can't get over Dawson's weight after not fighting there for 6 1/2 years no matter how he looks.

I agree with the writer that talked about Ward not really seeing the talent that Dawson posses. We would have had a more clear view if that Dirrell fight wouldn't have fallen through (or Dirrell being a chicken). Ward has fought nothing but durable punchers in the super 6, no one that would really make him think hard about figuring them out, or no one that would give him the fear of getting countered. I also disagree when the one writer said "no one" has given Ward a tough fight. That Bika fight was real close early, and Ward pulled away. I also recall Ward getting hurt sometime during the last 3 rounds and tying up quite a bit because of it. Plus he faded late in Bika and Froch fights.

One thing i do like about that was that Ward was smart enough to tie up. That's one of the reasons why this fight is even, is because hes one of the smartest fighters in boxing. Just like Teddy Atlas said, boxing is more mental than anything. Even though Chad has most physical advantages over Andre, Andre's heart and will to win more than makes up for it. I see a close 2 way fight with Dawson's snappier punches and flurries making the difference on the cards.

It may be very smart, but it can make for hard to watch fights for sure.
                  See Ward-Miranda.

                    agree.
sort of a pipe dream IMO.
and to think some are saying chads back with iceman will be an advantage. whoa...scullys the one who's saying dawson doesnt need to change anything. figure dawson is back with scully as main trainer because chad gets his way easy over him. last few dawson fights scully has been 2nd and 3rd in command if anyone remembers.
                    goodluck chad.
this ought to be a dynamite fight!

That's true, but oddly enough the Kessler schooling was pretty exciting (and i was rooting for Kessler back then). It may have been the pure shock that Kessler was getting his butt kicked by someone that no one knew that much about and the WAY he was getting his butt kicked.
