Dawson vs Ward reminds me of Toney vs Jones

Not stylistically because Dawson/Ward & Jones/Toney fight nothing alike. But I mean in a sense of two future hall of famers meeting early in their careers with not a lot of major hype behind the fight.

I remember Toney/Jones did an HBO pre-fight conference, but that was about it. It wasn't a mega fight. In retrospect, Jones-Toney should have been a mega fight considering the magnitude of the matchup.

20 years from now, we'll look back at this matchup (Ward-Dawson)and say the same. Whoever wins tomorrow night, essentially, will have a win over a "PRIME" future hall of famer.

Pretty interesting living in history.
