I wasn't sure if this has been posted or not, but what are your thoughts on this situation? Do you think he is being set up? This coming out so long after the fact is kind of strange to me.
JC Gomez denies ******* use!
By Ricardo Lois
Associated Press has reported that former WBC crusierweight champion Juan Carlos Gomez has tested positive for ******* use. Immediately after the report surfaced, ********* contacted the Cuban at his Santa Monica apartment for comment. "Those tests must be incorrect or have been tampered with. At no time have I used *******," stated Gomez. Ranked number four by the WBC as a heavyweight, Gomez was tested for his about with Oliver McCall on October 15th, 2005. "This is all very interesting, right as I get my career is getting back on track these allegations float to the service. Someone in Germany wants to damage my career, maybe they do not want to see a black heavyweight champion in Germany."

Gomez faces a two-year ban by the Federation of German Pro fighters, but plans to get an examination by an independent doctor next week. "It is interesting that the AP report mentions Klaus-Peter Kohl believes that I am in the United States and [AP] could not reach me for comment. That is an outright lie. Klaus knows I am in here in Los Angeles straightening out my inmmigration status. Universum paid for my plane ticket to Los Angeles. I have spoken with Klaus and my team has been in contact with Universum representatives regularly. Why did I have to find out about this business in the press?" stated Gomez.
