I just saw it and those who made big deals about "Chad coming down" in weight. Chad looked MUCH more solid than Ward at the weigh in.

When Boxingscene post the video you'll see.

From the outside looking in It could of gone either way , so far so good , its like I always say in here , its not about numbers its about the effect of those numbers in the event , and every body has a different body system so they can be effected differently , weight draining is and can be a very sneaky gotcha , if Chad gets out muscled or even stopped the weight gotcha , if he stronger and beats Ward comfortably he did as they would say in racing , Chad beat the handicapper .

Dawson looked a bit drained IMO.. but being that it is only what 3:30pm in Oakland that should leave him plenty of time to hydrate up to a healthy weight by the time they enter the ring.. I still think Dawson expression showed he is a bit unsure of himself at the weight, while Ward seems quite comfortable and confident.. as expected..

How is he unsure? Because he wasn't yelling and screaming like Dre "SOG" was. Chad has always had a cool demeanor, that's been the knock on him.

Guys get me with this dry stuff, Chad looked good as well as Dre! i'm new to this site but not new towards physical condition, preparation, and what it takes to get in shape or stay in shape for whatever your doing. Chad did not look dry, look @ Rios vs Abril he looked dry and skin sunk in as well as Chavez Jr vs Rubio. That's what dry is. Chad look healthy, and as far as we know 168 might be better for him, we shall find out tomorrow! My $$$ is on Chad!!

Chad may LOOK healthy, but he came in at 191.. almost 200 pounds for his last fight.. his natural weight. 168 is not a healthy weight for him going into a 12 round fight unless he can hydrate back up to around 186 87 quickly! fighting for 12 rds is a lot like running a marathon, not a mens swim suit model contest looks can be deceiving..

They both looked good. Ward is gonna win tho..
Just because Chad looked good doesnt mean dropping to 168 isnt gonna effect him in a negative way.. Will he have the stamina deep into the fight?
He takes round off @ 175, so surely he'll probably take even more rounds off at 168.. But who knows, tomorrow cant football sunday cant get here fast enough..
