Pretty moderate-pace fight. Ruiz dives in a again with a couple hooks. Nothing really impressive from either so far. Small combination from Valuev after Ruiz comes in. More jabs from Valuev. Nice right to the head from Valuev. 1:25 left. Valuev getting the better shots in thus far. :55 left. More jabs from Valuev than a straigh right, fires up Ruiz, who lunges, then a tie up. More jabs from Valuev at :30. Seems to be a pretty good round for Valuev.

Why the massive hate for Ruiz? The guy has balls for taking this fight, and it seems he's winning, he earns my respect either way.
