Ex-pro Jean Pierre Younsi has passed away at the age of 63 in France. Younsi was military champ as an amateur and turned pro in 1971 and fought professionally through 1977 taking on the likes of Perico Fernandez (twice), Dave Boy Green, Fredo Roelands, Erkki Meronen and Walter Blaser. Younsi, 19-14-3, fought twice for the French jr welter title.
