Great article, really enjoyed it. Liked Ward's thoughts on being "boring", he was spot on.

If he didn't headbutt, use forearms, and clinch so often I'd call him gifted.
Could not agree less. Ward will be marketable because of his skills. People will always love villainous brawlers, but people will always love the wizards as well.

And I admit, Ward has been known to use dirty tactics from time to time in previous fights, but in his most recent, his wins have been as clean as they have been impressive.

Boxing like every sport needs to be entertaining, Ward does not fit this bill.

He uses a lot of illegal tactics, where is Joe Cooper when you need him.

Needs to leave home as well.

He could have faced Bute in Montreal, could have moved up to 175lbs to face Dawson in Vegas.

If Bad Chad beats him this weekend in his home patch it tell use the level he is at.

Ward is too scared to fight away from home as we saw demonstrated throughout the entire Super 6, he was given all the advantages possible and never had to endure a fight away from his home country. And now he's weight draining Chad Dawson. Character? Greatness? None whatsoever.

Exactly. And since no one will say his name, I will: Antonio Margarito, LOL

I agree - Ward needs to GTFO Oakland, But ya fcuked up on your 2nd point - explain how Ward is draining Dawson when Dawson called out Ward & said he can do 168?

Ward should be the guy making $30 million a fight

Funny how life and sports reward the undeserving with the riches like mayweather while a decent good honorable kid like Ward makes little. Ward should be making the big dollars not mayweather or Paq.
