a bit long on the spread but I'm no bookie..Ward is the more complete guy & it won't b a grab/hold bout like chad had w/hopkins....Ward should win convincingly on a UD 12...

Not at all surprising for me.

I hope for a Chad victory, but I really, really cant see it.

Those odds are probably based on Dawson dropping weight. But they didn't figure the fact that Ward has very limited big fight experiance against southpaws which might be a major factor.

This is true. I wonder if Ward will switch to southpaw for long periods in the fight, doubt that Dawson is preparing for that.

I don't see anything wrong with it

Dawson's temperament is to fight safe, he doesn't have the dog in him to dig deep when it matters. Ward is going to rough him up on the inside

This is too wide. There is no reason to doubt Dawson when he says he can make this weight and he has the advantage in terms of experience. Ward has never fought at this level. Dawson has. And he has won.

Ward can adapt. He can change the pace. He can fight at a brisk pace or slow it to a crawl.

Dawson has physical advantages however he has a comfort zone that he needs to be in to perform at his best. Speed the pace up, or tale away his advantages & he suddenly becomes an ordinary fighter.

Either way this fight are for boxing purists, cannot wait!!

Theres a good chance Ward simply wears Dawson down, the pace he set against Froch was crazy and that was with a broken left hand. I think he if can make Chad fight fast thru the first part of the fight he has a god chance of a late stoppage or easy decision. But Chad has the size and punch advantage for sure.
