My dude, 2:1 odds in a boxing match is the equivalent to a field goal or maybe 4 point difference on the spread for an NFL game; e.g. Picking one boxer to win is equivalent to the NFL's money line where you would have to tease those points up on the favorite but would have to lay $180 to $200 to profit $100. I'm not quite sure what point you're trying to convey with Vegas never being wrong and setting this at 2:1, but again the equivalent there is an NFL team favored by only a field goal. Not exactly a sure thing, but yes in reality I see Sergio winning this fight with angles, speed, and Jr. taking too long to reset after clinches and exchanges.

Cotto wouldn't even last with Martinez if he was fighting him at middleweight, all you p.rican talk so much ****, but you know if he went up in weight he would lose to Martinez, or Chavez jr for that fact. Cotto will never be a 4 weight division champ, I don't even think you guys ever had one.Last edited by Toltec77; 09-06-2012, 10:18 PM.Comment

He also said Donaire was better than PacquiaoSergio thinks Floyds #1, he has said it several times. Remember, only casual fans and some Floyd-hating boxing writers think Mannys #1. Everyone who knows boxing knows Floyd is. I hope Sergio does win this after all he has said, but he damn sure seems serious. I think it will probably be harder than he thinks once he is in the ring with Jr. who will be 20lbs heavier than him. I think Jr's size is what has carried him through the last few fights to be honest. His skill level has improve sure but he is still a novice really. Unless he covers up turtle-shell style and just bullies Sergio around, he is going to get KOed or stopped by the ref. I don't care how tough his chin is, taking flush shots from Sergio all night will take its toll. I mean let's be realistic though, Jr. lost to Zbik and lost to Vanda (1st fight), those were both crap decisions. Sergio's only legitimate loss is to Marg years ago. That draw with Cintron was a joke, Sergio had him out on his feet and that loss to Pwills could have gone either way really. I just hope this doesn't go 12 because Sergio is in for an unholy robbery unfortunately. Now that Arum has tossed Manny into the trashbin with that Bradley decision, Jr. is his golden goose. Unless someone stops Jr., he will not be losing any decisions trust me.
What Martinez said about Pac is purely political because he was chasing midgets for a payday
Now he's actually got face someone bigger and stronger than himComment

SERGIO SAYS THAT ABOUT FLOYD CAUSE HE KNOWS HE CAN BEAT HIM AND THE BOXING WORLD WOULD SAY " SERGIO DEFEATED THE BEST, HE IS NOW NUMBER ONE ". FLOYD IS NOT NUMBER ONE. HE IS A GOOD, NONETHELESS COWARD BOXER HYPED BY US MEDIA BECAUSE HE REPRESENTS THE US. AND THAT GENERATES A HEFTY REVENUE.Sergio thinks Floyds #1, he has said it several times. ONCE HE LOSES, WHICH HE HAS AT LEAST TWICE, HIS AZZ IS OVER.

LOL at sergio saying he is #2... he is #2 alright... as he only has pavlik and williams on his resume... the rest are just clutters... if you remove all the clutters in sergio's resume, it will end up rigondeux having more fights compared to sergio...Comment

"You media guys don't know boxing, a young fighter has just been ruined and for what? To prove he's the best MW? Ridiculous."
