Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. finally didn't win.

"Some of the luster came off the record of wunderkind Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (23-0-1) on Friday night as he could only manage a generous draw against Carlos Molina (9-1-1) in a six-rounder in Monterrey, Mexico."

Looks like he may have trouble when he finally steps up to big time competition. It wasn't a loss though so all isn't bad.

Is he even old enough to buy a drink?

Yeah in Mexico you could legally buy beer at age 18, but if you go into does little little towns you could buy as soon as you start showing that you are growing a mustach.

And about JCC JR, I was disappointed, he seem slow, slugish, and not very focused, unlike his other fights where he goes with one mentallity and that is to end the fight as early as possible. I not to type to be give or have excuses but could this possibly be do to the fact that he has 10 fights a year? Or was he just over confident thinking that Molina was going to be an easy win like his privious opponents? Its hard to say.

One thing is for sure he is proving more and more (in my eyes) that he could take a punch and has a decent chin, so as he continue his "quest" and starts fighting better opponents he could really do well. Just has to take every fight sirious and not think that all his opponents are push overs.
