Junior welterweight Mauricio Herrera is back in training and eyeing a return to the ring in October, Thompson Boxing Promotions General Manager Alex Camponovo told BoxingScene.com.

“He’s already back in the gym,” said Camponovo, who also serves as Thompson Boxing’s matchmaker.
