Back on topic of the thread. I have to agree with Bush even though Lopez would be on a very unexpected winning streak it would still be a cherrypick by PBF. I haven't and still refuse to pay for BS ppv and PBF vs Lopez would fall into that category for sure.

Everyone who has any kind of boxing knowledge knows that golden boy picked Lopez because he's not supposed to win. I wish to the boxing gods that Lopez could pull the upset here. I'd tell this story to my grandkids grinning ear to ear.
I was very impressed with Lopez vs Ortiz. He didnt look like the same Lopez that fought against Jessie Vargas. His punches were crisp and he was getting clean work in against Ortiz. Landing flush and crisp punches right on the chin. You can tell he has been working on his power in the gym. Not the same slappy punches I saw in the Vargas fight. Lopez was at a crossroads in his carreer where he was a **** hair away from becoming an ESPN FNF fighter and he stepped up and grabbed ahold of his destiny. Even a simple minded **** like you has to respect that. If you dont than theres something wrong with you.

I would hate that fight, but no way could I complain. Those are two huge upsets and Lopez would deserve it.

He was getting his ass kicked and happened to land a punch that broke Ortiz's jaw. Come on.

Lopez was losing the fight though.

I thought he was winning, actually. Ortiz took it to him early, but then Lopez started nailing him with flush shots and swung it in his favor.

He was landing his right hand early in the fight, then switched up to the uppercut half way through. Wasnt nothing lucky about it. You know what lucky punch is Mannys KO over Hatton and Garcia over Khan. Head down not even looking while landing a haymaker. Lopez was setting his punches up quite nicely.

Why are you calling Bushbaby names? You are making a pleasant boxing discusstion unpleasant when you don't need to.

Seriously go back and watch. Now I know Manny was already crushing Hatton and was on his way to winning by KO but the final blow was a haymaker that he through with his head down. And Garcias punch totally changed the fight. He was already loosing when that punch came from no where. And then people want to sit up there and call Lopez lucky. Relax im not taking anything away from Mannys victory over Hatton.
