    Flyweight prospect Alonso Lopez (12-1, 5KOs), the son of Mexican legend Ricardo Lopez, will return this Saturday night in a high-stakes fight against undefeated puncher Francisco Rodriguez Jr. (7-0, 6KOs). The fight is going to happened at Deportivo del Sindicato del Metro in Mexico City. It will be the first fight for Lopez since the upset decision loss to Luis Vazquez in April. Rodriguez, who fights between 108 and 112, returns from a fourth round TKO win over Jorge Guerrero.

    when i saw him fight it was as if i was watching his father,looks so much like him both physically and style of fighting,i always thought out of all the famous sons fighting he was the one with the better skills,of course he lost but it's still early only wish he would fight more often

      Yeah, he might mimic his father, but he doesn't really fight like him. Lopez was brought up by Cuyo Hernandez. The son is trained by Nacho Beristain. Anyway, I really think the guy who fights most like his father is Chavez Jr. Obviously, he is not as good as his father, but he just seems like a natural fighter. All the stuff Roach is teaching him is bull****, since Jr. looks bad trying to box. The worst is Zarate Jr. Plus, all these guys are fed bums, really.
