Floyd and Cotto are good options???

please grow a brain. Floyd has no desire to fight Pacquiao.

Cotto also has no desire to fight Pac at his requested weight of 150, which was reasonable because after Margarito, Manny decided never to fight above 147 again. Only a catchweight of 150 for big money (against Cotto) would entice him.

Cotto also wont fight below 154, unless its to drain Margarito in a grudge match - also for a nice payday.

Pacquiao is left with the only option of Marquez because Bradley wanted too much money even after only generating 700 Ks.

Bradley priced himself out. It seems Marquez didnt, because he is the only guy here who wants to fight Pacquiao and makes financial sense for Pacquiao.

Love it or hate it, deal with it.

Give Marquez credit. He's managed to fight Pacquiao 4 times now compared to Mayweathers = ZERO

      PATHETIC

      • this seems to be the best fight for both fighters. tired as some of you guys may be, this is the toughest fight for both and the most lucrative for both outside a fight involving floyd.

some call for a rematch with bradley but with only a few fights left, the amount of $$ left off the table by taking on bradley over marquez doesn't make much business sense. no other fighters at 147 can really provide as much risk/reward as marquez does.

i can't really blame manny for not going up to 154 for cotto. manny is barely a 147 lber so meeting in the middle is the most reasonable alternative. cotto refuses to go below 154, which he has the right to do so, then the fight simply can't be done. blasting manny for not going all the way up to 154 is dumb. if he asked for cotto at 154 and then offered to fight martinez at 150, then he should be blasted.

while it sounds old, marquez is the best alternative for pacquiao outside of floyd. he's nothing to prove vs cotto and while an official win vs bradley is nice, i think he has more to prove and to earn vs marquez.

How is Arum physically stalling the fight? Ideally, you're one of those Floyd fans who say he's "winning" when people talk about him negatively, so with you having pictures of Pacquiao and continuously talking about him, I guess he's the real winner here.
Whatever man. Don't reply to any of my posts if you are going to act ignorant. I have pictures and talking about him because he is a hype job and he is proving it without me talking about him. You can't see it though.

He hasn't from day 1 when it was a 50-50 split. Since that very second that Pac walked away to fight Clottey, his stock has dropped and EVERY fight there after his stock has dropped. It really went to **** when Pac was made out to be a fraud when a 39 year old LW clowned him. Then came the JWW who according to the judges gave Pac a boxing lesson. Again, Pac is now a clown and Bob Arum is desperately trying to get that look good fight i.e. Cotto II at a catch weight.

But you already know that. You've been around for awhile unlike a lot of these clowns on this board who have no idea who Bob is or how long he's actually been making fights.

Why dont you open your eyes to what has gone down !

Floyd wants Manny , Manny has turned down every offer made him , thats a fact !

Manny wanted Cotto first choice , Cotto said no problems 154 , Pac REFUSED the fight not Cotto , Manny !

Bradley never priced himself out you fool , where do you get the BS you fly with , dam amazing !

Why dont you deal with the FACTS that Manny is a manipulating cherry picker that wont fight without all advantages his way ! JMM is not his biggest risk , Floyd Cotto and Bradley all beat him and Bradley did officially , and he cant even redeem that !

Like I said fck Manny and his BS , Id rather see JMM vs Bradley !

I'll wait. Looks to me like you're the puppet.
                Just for kicks.

First of all. Even before Floyd was offering the fight to Manny with no PPV Bob Arum was talking about...

                1. Pacquiao cut needs 6 month to heal and won't be ready to fight Floyd in May
                2. Bob Arum needed time to build a new stadium in order to make the fight
                3. Has Bob Arum made any attempt to negotiate or talk to Floyd about a fight? He just says he doesn't think Floyd will fight this year and so forth.
                He don't want the fight!

And for the record, Arum said Pac makes his own decisions so it's him who doesn't want the fight,
"I gotta tell Manny what I can afford for each fight and we need to talk about each fight, but he makes his own decision," Arum said."

It's hilarious how quick fans forget the type of bull***** Arum was on earlier this year. How can people pretend like this never happened?

None of that applies when Pac himself said he'd fight on May 5th, as long as Mayweather gave an equal and fair split.
