I'm annoyed that John Duddy missed out on that party too.

They could have all defined their careers against each other. A bad fight can't be made with them.
It's annoying they haven't fought yet, really think all 4 could put on some thrilling fights. Not just that but they're on the cusp of world level too but still haven't made the leap yet.

Murray fights Julien Marie Sainte for the European belt before the year is out. McEwan needs to go about getting a fight against a good opponent, Hope is a good opponent - hope that fight is made.

I see you're from Texas, so I don't expect you to have any clue of the domestic scene over here. He, along with the likes of Matthew Macklin, Darren Barker and Martin Murray form a group of 4 top middleweights. These guys may not be world champions in their career but they're contenders.

I'll be annoyed if those 4 never meet each other in the ring.
Your statements contain a lot of contradiction. You say McEwan is so much more than British level along with Macklin, Barker, and Murray. Macklin and Barker were competitive with a generally acknowledged P4P'r in Martinez before getting stopped. Both Macklin and Murrey arguably beat Sturm in a world title bout. They ARE actual contenders. McEwan on the other hand has lost to Andy Lee (KO) and then to Quillin by TKO in the 6th round. McEwan has shown he is not a credible CONTENDER. He is cannon fodder for real contenders.

I stand by my statement. He should stick to the British circuit where he shines, cause he has NOT shined in the States. Macklin and Murrey, on the other hand, have shined at times, and Darren broke the nose of a P4P.

Me being from Texas is completely irrelevant.
