I wasn't sure about Danny Garcia but the more I hear from him the more I like the dude!!! He is still showing Morales the respect he deserves but at the same time is basically saying "Legend or not I need to wup his @$$ and that's what I'm gonna do"
My opinion on the fight is that Morales doesn't have the strength anymore to stop Garcia but he also won't have the legs to take those fairly heavy shots all night. Having said that I always worry when Morales steps into the ring cos he looks too old to still have it but he usually surprises me so we'll see I guess.

Danny has no clue of what's in store for him. After hearing Morales say " van a ver un Erik Morales con muchos ganas de romperle su madre este cabron " to Bill Emes in an interview right here on boxingscene I knew it was a wrap. He basically said that your gonna see a Erik Morales 110% ready to beat the shlt out of that m0ther***r. Erik Morales hasn't talked like that since the Barrera trilogy days. Good Luck Danny. Starting fast doesn't mean he'll start throwing hay-makers from round 1. Garcia is a "counter-****er", so he aims to slowly break his opponents down with quiet pressure and body attack. When he has them lured into a fire-fight, he'll use his timing and counter-punching ability to hurt his opponents in the exchange. When he has them hurt, he'll go after them with a vengeance and get sloppy. If Morales gets hurt, he needs to throw with Garcia and aim to hurt him back. It's the only way he won't get trampled over imho.

This fight is simply a pay day for Garcia. Like it or not folks, Morales is done. This is just proof that pro boxers don't manage their winnings well and must fight past their physical abilities to pay the bills.

Garcia will end this by the 8th round. I would have preferred seeing a rematch against Khan. A Garcia win over Khan II would've ended Amir's career for sure.

Everyone worries when Morales steps in the ring, but the more people worry, it seems the better he performs.
