I think Quillin will get KOd by any serious puncher he faces, especially against a guy like GGG.

Anyone who watched the Wrigh fight could tell Quillin does not like to get hit, Wright with whatever little power he has was snapping Quillins head back with a couple of punches. Good offensive fighter but once he gets that chin touched its over.

Quillin is better then Jacobs but I don't think Quillin is getting as much hype or protection as Danny Jacobs, Quillin been wanting to fight the best, he been calling out Sergio Martinez for the last year or so

I think alot of posters are ignoring the main point behind this thread. This is not created to initiate a debate between the skills of Quillin and Jacobs but just to highlight that the push Jacobs received in the past is almost identical to Quillin's today given the circumstances I originally mentioned.

In closing it emphasises the great level of matchmaking his team possesses - GBP and Haymon.

I think you're right that Quillin is in similar position. But, when it's time to throw him to the wolfs, I think Kid Chocolate will be able to stand on his two feet. He's still contender status, and N'Jikam is a step-up in opposition. Plus, Quillin said on Twitter that he'd be willing to fight Golovkin. Let's see what Haymon does next. If Quillin becomes WBO champ, then he'll have no choice but to fight Golovkin.

I like Quillin as a person, I respect his backstory of how he got to where he is today, but I just find him to be a bit underwhelming in the ring. When I look at him I don't see a top pound for pound fighter, though to his credit he has fought some guys his last few fights that didn't exactly have the style to be impressive against. With that said though, he seems like a genuinely good guy so I hope he becomes the star that many think he can be.
