the whole thing is BS its up to Cotto whether he wants to take the fight or not and if he takes it and then cries later about being weight drained he has nobody to blame but himself. Catchweights are lame and should be banned anyway we have weight divisions for a reason, just fight in whatever is the appropriate division or feck off. I don't see why anyone one would say weight is not an issue on any of these fights when Roach already admitted that he uses weights to get an advantage. Ive never heard any other camps including Cottos admit that.

Did Cotto take advantage of Margarito when he fought him at a CW less than a year ago? Why didn't he fight him at the full 154 JMW limit?

I have been reading these this and other threads where you continue to ask this same question as if it will prove some sort of point and corroborate or strengthen your argument.

I will answer simply out of curiosity to see what your next move is, when honestly dont believe you have anything.

I believe Cotto wanted every advantage to put a hurting on Margarito. I wanted to see him hurt Margarito too. I was at the fight in the Garden and wanted the fight to continue so that Margarito would get hurt. ( I know its bad but its how I felt)

Honestly its a matter of using your star power to get advantages. At the time it was advantageous to Cotto financially to take the Manny fight, even if it was disadvantageous ,but those are the type of warriors real fans love.

Its another reason why Floyd M. is great. He can easily weight drain fighters and make them come in at any weiht he wants. They will accept for the money and the shot and guess what? NONE WILL GIVE EXCUSES. they will shut there mouth and get the money.

As for Tony, most fans wanted him to get hurt because he is a low person. Most people dont put their ethnicity in from of their morals.

Cotto was beat to an inch off retirement or serious injury and the evidence presented looks like it was a cheat beating the mindset of that must have been a nightmare for Cotto , enough that Roach said publicly he is ready to be taken ,

Against Cotto , Margo had came from a fight at 150 thats why Cotto asked for it , Cotto did not demand it , Cotto agreed to fight him without a CW anyway .

Manny forced Cotto to a CW inside his own division even though Miguel was the WW world champ at the time , Miguel has said he was influenced (leaned on ) to accept the Pac fight by Arum !

Now here we are and Manny is trying to force him down again , and unlike Cotto vs Margo where Cotto fought him anyway , Manny runs like a dog back to his little people rematches that nobody wants to see while Cotto is the biggest money fight for Pac outside of Floyd .
