It means you didn't understand what i said... You were suggesting why didn't Manny just go down to 140lbs when he fought Marquez and Bradley.... Based on Manny's last fights prior to Marquez 3 and Bradley he will be going down 5lbs. just to meet them at 140lbs... In comparison, Cotto just went down 1 lbr from his last fight with Clottey to meet Manny at 145lbs...
How did pacquiao "drain" cotto????????????????

Cotto said prior to the fight with Manny that going down to 145 will be OK and he mentioned himself that in his last fight he came in at 146 with more than 24 hours to go (hard to understand exactly what he said)
Interview right after the fight. "what was the difference in the fight?"
- Cotto - I couldn't see his punches .... I didn't know where those punches were coming from!!!!
So it wasn't the weight that made the difference ... it was that Manny was bombarding him with punches from angles that Cotto had a hard time reading/seeing.

Based on fight night weight Pacquiao going down to 140 would be no different that Cotto draining 10+ lbs to go to 145. But that would only affect Pacquiao. It means you didn't understand what i said... You were suggesting why didn't Manny just go down to 140lbs when he fought Marquez and Bradley.... Before the weigh in Cotto was training in 100 degrees heat in the gym to make 145 while Pacquiao was comfortable....... but that wouldn't affect him??? silly fanboy , i said 1 lb now your blowing it out of proportions , running out of excuses already ?
pac was willing to go up to 150 , the same weight cotto wanted margarito to fight withComment

If it makes no difference, then Pac and Roach should have never asked for it.PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS TO ME !?!?!?!?!?
ALL DAY IM READING BLAH BLAH HE DRAINED HIM AND WANTS TO DRAIN HIM AGAIN
WELL HERE ARE THE FACTS!
pac came in at 144 lbs against cotto thats 6 lbs heavier than his previous fight (138 vs hatton ) and his heaviest ever and up to 16 lbs heavier than some of his previous 8 fights
cotto came in at 145 ONLY 1 POUND lighter than his previous (146 vs clottey) and 1.5 -2lbs under his previous 8 fights
would u rather have to lose a pound or gain 7 b4 a fight ? i.e. Marquez vs mayweather
one pound is not a "drain" !
odl vs pac was a drain yes but that was Oscars choice he thought he had an easy night vs the midget
think about it
if Danny Garcia (140) fought Broner (130) at a 139 lb "catch weight" who would u be giving the advantage to??????????????
am i the only one who is sick of this ****** bs , yes manny asking for cotto at 150 now that he has grown in to 154 can be considered draining but i personally think 150 is to big for manny an they would be at an equal disadvantageComment

even cotto admitted defeat only his fanboys are in denialComment

I've got cold hard facts, which is more than Pac fans have.
Cotto moving up in weight straight after.
Pacquiao admitting it would affect Cotto.
Cotto training in 100 degrees heat to make weight.
Cotto refusing to "sacrfice" his body again.
Pacquiao unwilling to fight Cotto without another CW.
All back up my argument.Comment

Your source of Oscar's weight came from what, from Oscar himself??!!! Your pathetic, and it was Oscar who chose Manny to fight him at WW.... You brought up the weights of Manny at FW to show that a healthy athlete can rehydrate to 10lbs more, but when it comes to Cotto who rehydrated by 12 lbs more it's unhealthy now...Comment
