I honestly don't understand why Manny wouldn't fight Cotto at 154. Manny and Floyd are pretty much the same size now. So if Floyd is willing to fight Cotto at 154 and he can't even make 154 why doesn't Manny just do it? He came in the ring in his last fight at something like 151? What would Manny be proving at CW Cotto again? If he fought and beat him badly at 154 then I can understand but not another CW...

The biggest problem with this fight not getting made is the fact it makes the small chance of pac/may almost non existent at this point... /sigh.

Pacquiao not movin up in weight without askingor advantages, vagina.

And if going into his 7th and 8th weight class was too much then he should stay in his lane and not try to bull**** his way into the record books
Oh that was the point, Cotto just wanted to take advantage of him? Then he should have requested Marg use his left only, or just hired some hooded guys to pay him a visit, maybe put it up on youtube. As it is, must have done wonders for his confidence to know he can beat the guy with regulation gloves, provided he has one working eye, and with a cw. No wonder he got unshot then.

Noone takes Pac's 8th belt seriously, he was already holding the record before he started with cws.

So let me get this straight, you'd give FMJ 0 credit for going for his 6th div title against Martinez at 157? You'd give him more credit for ducking out of the fight altogether surely?

Because he said, never gonna fight at 154. Pretty easy

That is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT then pacquiao who has had how many catchweight fights now?
Just ignore the fact that he's a jr lightweight at best who more or less jumped 3 divisions for his first catch weight fight. He's naturally at a disadvantage in any welterweight fight but you would never admit that would you?

I'll tell you why, because you're a fan boy.
Fanboy is an understatement. Think about it. The only reason he hates many is because of his love for Floyd. I mean seriously think about that for a minute. Not only is he fanatically obsessed with Floyd but he has to take it a step further and devote himself to trashing Floyds only legitimate rival. Instead of demanding a fight between the two he would rather Manny didn't exist so there would be no challenge to his ideology.

Like Roger Mayweather when he talks about the greatness of Floyds division conquering but ignores that Manny did the same thing but better. Everything about Mayweather is geared to avoiding and pretending the challenge isn't legitimate instead of meeting it head on. Him his camp his fans. All of them.

That's what happens when you're uneducated and naive, I don't want to go too far on him, he might actually be mentally challenged.

How does that sound though? Why even ask to fight a guy at that weight only to ask for a CW? What would be the point in him fighting Cotto again when people are going to complain about him CW Cotto AGAIN so that AGAIN it will water down his win vs Cotto. Why not just fight him at 154 like Floyd did... but wait this isn't just about Floyd. Its about them making money since Cotto is the 3rd biggest PPV draw in boxing. Looks like another attempt at a cash out but failed. Manny is the same size as Floyd but doesn't want to take the same risk as Floyd? Why is it that he always has to have some type of an advantage?

His suspension. People smarter than us found something illegal in/on his wraps/gauze.

Of course it's a money grab, it's boxing. And per Floyd, a virtue.

So if they're the same size, where's Floyd's belts at 122, 126? Why is Floyd given props for fighting at 154 in his 5th weight, where he was already a legit champ (unlike Pac's 8th belt)? Funny enough he's fine with 154 for a couple of blown up welters, but when Sergio calls, it's crickets. Maybe at 150?
