IMHO Trout is the best fighter that can compete at 154 not named Floyd or Martinez. I'm a fan of Cotto, as I'm a fan of Trout. But Cotto's on his way out & Trout is on his way up, the young blood southpaw has this.

thats one thing thats wrong with the game, how many titles are there in each division? far too many imo.

maybe its just me, but i dont consider it a major title, there is 1 champion per division and the rest are contenders. it shouldnt be contenders with belts.

I like this fight for Cotto glad he didn't rush the pac rematch because. either after Marquez or after Floyd if that ever happens the pac-cotto rematch will happen and Marquez will get robbed and even if Floyd beats him I think pac wants to leave the sport on a win and people think he's still tough enough to bully cotto which i doubt at this stage personally.

Trout is not Floyd mayweather its the same idiots who thought Yuri. stood a chance. Nobody is as good as mayweather defensively it was ridiculous how he made cotto miss. and Trout. don't hit like prime Pac he's a pure boxer which cotto. thrives off of which is why he gave Floyd a damn good fight but trout can't make him miss like Floyd hell start to get tagged and cotto will stop him late from some good body work.

Trout is DANGEROUS especially for a fighter like Cotto who is lets be honest...not getting any younger or better, it is always dangerous to fight a young and hungry lion who is so hungry and is looking to make a name for himself...Trout is not just going to lay down and let Cotto take his title, if your thinking that then you will be disappointed December 1st, I could see Trout being very effective against Cotto from the outside and he is a EXCELLENT Counter Puncher...Counter Punchers are always difficult to deal with

Cotto is a better counter puncher than Trout.

But I agree it will be a competitive fight. The cream will rise though and Cotto will in an 8-4ish decision.
