Although I don't like the fight i'm not mad at Garcia. He said he was paying Morales back for giving him his shot, can't be mad at him for that. I doubt i'll watch the fight though

What if another fighter did that? say Amir Khan if he never lost to Garcia and he beat Morales on points, and gave Morales a rematch would people be so forgiving>?

No fighter should really worry about legacy~ it is a dumb thing to be concerned with because that is not something someone can easily control. For a youngster in the game this is even more the case.

He should just worry about taking care of business against the guys he fights in the present and future then his legacy will take care of itself.

Why the hell not?? This is a good fight to help Garcia build a fan base on the east coast..It's the best money fight in the div for Garcia(outside of Khan) this fight makes sense...Not to mention it was actually a good fight...

If Khan was in the same boat as Garcia then no I wouldn't care. Plus let's not forget the rematch clause in the contract from their first fight. Just don't watch it if you think the fight is garbage.

Whats next Garcia vs. Marco Antonio Barrera? Golden Boy is really making some ****ty fights, along with the Canelo vs. a blown up 140 pounder Josesito Lopez.

If Morales and Josesito win, Golden boy will be the laughing stock.
Well, I am still laughing at your ass from all the bull**** you spouted about your homie making 60k off a repost of the Tupac Hologram video.

You should be banned from creating threads for real, even TMZ has more credibility than you

                    Which one?

I don't know what you were watching, but what I saw was Khan get countered every time he he jumped in like a spastic twat.

Sounds like they had to make the fight...it will be a test of his professionalism to this point, because it might be easy to overlook Morales, especially if you've already beaten him.

IDC how old he gets, if Morales keeps getting these shots, he is bound to win one of them...especially in a rematch against someone who doesn't push a fast pace. Adjustments will be made on both sides, so it's still really important for Danny to be at his absolute best for this one.

Aside from the skill aspect...I thought Garcia had the advantage going into the Khan fight simply because it wasn't a replacement bout for him, all he had to do was prepare for Khan and not deal with a letdown in training/rescheduling like Amir did. I think Angel Garcia is aware of the context surrounding that fight and will keep Danny focused for Morales and he will have a good end to the year.
