    with the way people view him he will never get respect,
    i think he should just because he hasnt really backed out of a fight. he always fights who is put infront of him, his style might be **** but he aint no ***** either.

      I agree. You have to be either completely crazy or be very brave to go to Germany(Land of the Living Crooked Judges)and face a 7 foot monster who weighs almost 100 pounds more than you.

            i dont like ruiz whatsoever, but he does want to fight, DKP screws him and everyone else though. since n byrd r tryna get out, the HW diviosn will be good, well better

                  I hope he does... at least as much respect as other fighters are getting these days

                  I think there are many fighters that hug their way to victory and they dont get the kind of flack Ruiz gets. When they do it, its grit, its toughness, its experience, its "the technique needed to win against that fighter" and when Ruiz does it, its hugging, he is a ***, etc etc.
