    Austin Trout - any good?

I may seem ignorant or oblivious, but I have only seen this guy once, and I wasnt left with any special impression. I came across his name again today, so wanted to know what the general impression of this guy actually is.

25-0 and undefeated. WBA 154lb Champ. His resume isnt great.

Any of you guys follow him? Promising?

Where'd you come across his name? I think he's a good fighter despite not having the glittering record. He effectively beat Devlin too, although I don't think Devlin was 1000percent that fight.

He's better than Lara IMO. They are the same fighter, lara has better hands, Trout has better defense.

I'd favor him if they fought.

He's kinda boring but effecient.....doesn't waste movement.....I think if someone actually went to war with him we will see Trout's ability to move and counter, as well as fight inside. He also has very good handspeed to go with his solid defense.

              VERY!

Austin Trout would win by UD over ANY...ANY! of the top fighters in that 154 Division (other then Mayweather of course but I think he has a style that would even give Mayweather some MAJOR ISSUES)

He is a HIGHLY SKILLED BOXER, very Technical, very HIGH IN RING IQ, great Jab, excellent timing and a excellent counter puncher...he doesn't do anything great (other then his jab) but he does EVERYTHING GOOD!

OF COURSE most will consider him "BORING" but hey many of Today's TOP boxers are consider "Boring": Mayweather, Ward, Klitschko's, Dawson, Bradley, Chemito Moreno and most of those fighters are considered Top 10 P4P so being labeled "BORING" is not a bad thing by today's standard

People are labeled boring when they don't consistently KO people.

I have seen film of him and he looks good to me. I think any 154 pounder would have to take him seriously. I think he can beat Bundrage, Kirkland and Angula. I think Lara, Vanes and Canelo can beat him.
