Sergei Lyakovich Should Get A Title Shot!!!

If Sergei is successful against McCline in April do you think he's done enough to earn himself a title shot against one of the three major world titleholders?

I mean who else is there besides Rahman and he's going to be taking on Vitali sometime this year!

McCline will beat Sergei. It is too early for Sergei to take on Mccline. Sergei is not in a very good physical shape, with a lot of fat on him, and he has to work on the defense a lot.

Deal. I can put up to 3MLN on McCline. Of course, I hope Sergei wins.

Lyakovich is not under Don King, so no title shot for him
Seriously, I don't thing DK will let anybody near his precious "cash cows". DK is getting desperate though, giving Golota a third chance after two losses in the row. Pathetic...

Guinn hits harder than McCline and Guinn lost to Lyakovich. Sergei has some very good potential. He obviously doesn't fold when he's being pressured like a lot of European fighters and he's very controlled in the ring.

Lyakovich also has a nice body attack which is good when you're facing a guy like McCline who tires.

Lets not remember how McCline burst onto the scene in the first place. Nothing for thirty some odd fights then BOOM! He KO's Grant and decisions Whitaker and Briggs.

Another thing is, McCline hasn't showed me much of late to make me think he will take this fight. He tired late against Byrd and in my opinion lost pretty legitimately.

What did SL show you in his fight with Guinn that would make you pick SL over McCline?

If Guinn was just a little busier, he would have took the close decision, and you would be saying SL is a bum.

McCline is a proven contender, he is not the best of the best, but he is better than some chubby white guy.

                  McCline UD12.
