Morales only had 5 week's to train for this fight and he was still able bust Garcia's face up and outbox him for a good portion of the fight. I think the whole Mexico vs. Puerto Rico rivalry is gonna be big motivation for Morales this time around especially in NYC. Morales didn't look at it like that the first time around, now he's the challenger coming to NYC to fight the Puerto Rican champion. With twice the amount of time to train for Morales I have no doubt this is gonna be contender for FOTY.

I personally see this fight looking a lot like their first outing cause both guys are going to be equally motivated to win. Wish Morales was talking less retirement and more Marquez.

Everybody was writing Morales off when they saw him at the weigh ins and the truth is he gave Garcia a better fight than Khan, obviously. There's no if cause he's about to take Garcia to school.

goodbye El Terrible....no doubt a future HOF guy and bonafied LEGEND of the sport...you will be missed bro....just give your nod of approval to the new king so your fanbase can support the King in the future without any hard feelings....you know, just as B.Hop is my all-time fav dude, you'll still find me supporting Jermain Taylor, Jean Pascal, Chad Dawson, Kelly Pavlik, Roy Jones and even found it in me to support Tarver in his last 2 fights...thats how it goes....so after the stoppage, lets all congratulate and not hate....long live the king and god bless the legend!!!

Morales with proper training will give a better account of himself. But at the same time Garcia is on the up and up and his confidence must be soring.

This is going to be an interesting affair

Hope he sticks around in the sport by way of training new generations of fighters at his gym. Also looking forward to how his younger brother Ivan develops as a boxer seeing him fight just signed with Golden Boy.
I agree. Win or lose, but I hope to see him go out on top.
