If you think he should be higher then rank him higher. The old time experts declared Robinson the best pound for pound over 50 years ago and it stuck. It is just a matter of opinion anyway. As much as you love boxing you could be an expert and your opinion is as good as theirs. It has been said so much the Robinson was the greatest that it's like it is written in stone and nobody is allowed to disagree. I say to hell with that. The experts who originally declared Robinson the best are guys that are mostly about the same age as Robinson so he was in his prime when they were in theirs. They don't want anyone taking his place. When a young guy gets interested in boxing all he hears is Robinson was the greatest, period. Sure Robinson was great, but so were others like Armstrong. Everyone who cares should study the records, watch the films, and decide for themselves.
