You don't have to prove anything for an arrest, or to bring a case.

You just need su****ion, which there is plenty all things considered. And there is enough evidence to bring a trial.

After the shooting occurred, Floyd denied even knowing Ocie Harris but a Police investigation in Floyd's home revealed that Floyd and Ocie knew eachother well as there were numerous pictures in Floyd's home of Ocie Harris. Sounds Fishy as hell that Floyd would deny even knowing the man if Floyd had no part of the shooting.
