people keep making it out that froch is an ATG and one of the best supermiddleweights but if you look at all his victories his opponents in some way have been flawed etc Bute=overrated, never fought an elite levelfighter, once got knocked out in canada,Glen Johnson=50 yrls old Abraham=too small for supermidlleweight Dirrell=****ing robbery and froch lost his biggest fight when he got outclassed by ward who also had a broken hand

to be fair, though, froch's team didn't seek mack out before checking out tougher options first. i'm sure they would have been fine with a bute rematch. it was in the damn contract (don't think it was immediate, though.)
To be fair, there were no other fights out there.

He needs a stay-busy fight before the Bute rematch, and this fits the bill. It wasn't his first choice, or, indeed, his second, but its something.

Not quite accurate, Bika was ready and willing.

Business-wise however it was the right decision with big-money fights against Bute and Kessler on the horizon.

I think the fight will probably be better than expected.

How about Bute vs James DeGale for Chunkie's EBU belt, on nuetral ground IE: Germany or Denmark? Both would have to pull out the performance of a lifetime. Bute to get his career back on track & DeGale to progress to bigger & better fights.
