That's why I never get excited about prospects. You guys like to hype up up coming fighters like they're actually the sh-t. You put high expectations for them when they haven't even fought top fighters, then when they do, you claim they were "exposed". Nothing was exposed, the only thing that gets exposed around here is people's bad judgement of which fighter will be good and which one won't.Comment

How cynical are you, Kev? It's fun to follow/ hype/ analyze up-and-coming prospects. For every 10 prospects you follow, maybe 1, 2 or none will do something substantial. It's part of being a boxing fan. We like to judge fighters and make predictions...That's why I never get excited about prospects. Al Haymon calls the shots for Arreola and through his close friend has a big influence on what fights are televised by HBO.
Watch Arreola-Vitali in high definition. You can see it was Haymon not Arreola's trainer who decided to stop the fight. He came over and told him to stop it because he didn't want to see his "property" permanently damaged.
Al Haymon has surpassed Don King and Bob Arum and has become the most influential man in boxing.Comment

But you are saying Haymon is the one stopping him from fighting certain people....do you have any facts to back this up?Al Haymon calls the shots for Arreola and through his close friend has a big influence on what fights are televised by HBO.

His win over Travis Walker was impressive IMO. It was a modern day Foreman-Lyle where both guys were on deck and got up to slug it out...Comment
