He could have taken the fight,(which he would have won), his contract would have expired right after, then he could have allowed himself to be courted by top rank & still get the Manny fight anyway right??

He ducked & gambled & it payed off. Doesn't change the fact that he ducked. So ducking is only ok when you get to fight 1 of the sports greatest draws then?? Well then, I guess by those standards we who complain about ginger ducking his entire division are dead wron cause it's good business so the duck doesn't count right??
Bradley would still have to go to court to get away from Shaw had he accepts the fight..That's time wasted...Bradley wanted the fight on his fight date not Khans...Which means Bradley would have to sign on to be with Shaw longer then he wanted to be..

You can't compare Bradley to Alvarez..Bradley fought a bunch of top contenders in his Div Alvarez has not...

I'd say so in a slight possible way.
What was the last legitimate threat Pacquiao fought?
I'll give an exception to Marquez because everybody and their dead grandma thought Pacquiao would demolish Marquez going into the fight. I'm saying, a name to add on the resume with not that much presume risk was probably what they were thinking.

      *edit
Of course I could be grasping straws here

So now you're adding stipulations to the duck meter. (Cause he fought good fighters before the duck), makes the duck not a duck, lol!!

The duck isn't a duck because of fight dates?? "Well he didn't want to fight on Khan's fight date", so the duck is excused & chalked up to business.

I'm confused to what your talking about...I'm only going by what Bradley said..Which is fact..Khan could have fought Bradley on his fight date instead of fighting McCloskey..Which that fight was all about business..But like I said we have a different view on this, no biggie...

I'm talking about all the excuses you've given as to why Bradley's duck shouldn't be considered a duck. You gave a lot. Kinda like you've added stipulations to making a duck acceptable. But you're right. I'm a fan capable of criticizing a fighter I support when he's obviously wrong. You are not. No biggie.

I know Frank Warren was in negotiations with Bradley when Khan dumped him and went to GBP. You would have thought if Khan really wanted to fight Bradley he would have been chirping for the fight much earlier rather than leave it late in the day when he was fully aware Bradley was having problems with Shaw.I see no reason for the fight not happening in the future if Khan can reserect his career.
