I was just looking at my usual betting site and he's 23/20 to Valuev's 20/29. For someone who nearly always finds a way to win against stonger opposition, that's not a bad bet.

Yeah, I've definitely seen Yankee Doodles on here saying that it's not being screened in the US, and as far as I'm aware they've only ever shown ONE Ruiz fight in the UK... they're merciful like that.

i posted the odds yesterday, maybe people should read threads before making identical ones. i also used odds that people understand in my post. ruiz is 2.15-1 valuev is 1.67-1

Unless the odds have greatly changed since yesterday, the odds presented in the thread we're now in are 1.15 to 1 for Ruiz and 0.69 to 1 for Valuev.

were talking the same odds, just a different language.

when i say 2.15-1 i mean you win 115 on a 100 dollar bet
and for valuev, you win 67 or 69 in your case on a 100 dollar bet

odds shouldnt be stated the way you did as .69-1 for valuev, they should reflect the return of the risk, stated properly its 1.69-1 becuase if you bet 100 and win you receive 169 dollars back.

As a semi-pro gambler I disagree and think you're downtoning it too much for the "layman". If guys do know a bit of ******** they might assume that they'd get that AND their stake, but I see where you're coming from.
