Another "could have went" from an otherwise erudite writer. If you want to be in keeping with your readers, at least you might have written "cudda went"...
Spoils my enjoyment of the article. from the man who castigated me a while back for not noticing that he spelled his name with a second "o" instead of an "e". All in good spirit though.

I also thought that Abraham won better than barely.

Arthur Abraham didn't help himself by longish periods of doing nothing in particular...but he did mess that boy's face up some.

Stieglitz was busier but couldn't bruise a g****. Arthur 116-112 whilst cruising in a lower gear.

Did you watch the fight or are you going on media reports?

Because I watched it and scored it 116-112 and that is with AA taking the last round off because he was so far ahead.

I didn't think it was close at all. Look at Stieglitz's battered face and you know who lost.

The only people who could have seen that fight as close are the lunkheads who value mere activity over clean, effective and HARD punching.

If I am Abraham, I move back down to middleweight and fight a few lower tier top ten contenders (Mackilin, Murray, Quillin, etc...).
