the problem is that martinez does get hit also n chavez is so damn big n young, his body punches come so natural, martinez is really disrespecting him n thinking nothing of him

That's what I'm saying. He's a horrible shit talker. He was saying shit like:

      "Is that what you think?"

"We'll find out on September 15"

      "No I'm going to win"

      "You're Wrong"

But luckily shit talking doesn't win fights.

Martinez does get hit, but he's hard to catch with flush body shots. Chavez can't afford to reach with any shots or he'll get countered. Jr. saying that he'll beat Martinez with boxing and intelligence...is actually something I'm happy to hear him say lol. Bulldozing Sergio will get you ****ed up, but thinking too long will also get him ****ed up. Chavez has to find a balance between the two.

Lol...Sergio is surgical with words...cutting into who JR is as a person and such...IDK if thats a good idea, considering he could awake a beast come fight time. Both have too much to lose...I'm 50/50 at this point.

If I'm this excited at the face/off, I just might go super saiyan at the ring entrances.

Julio: "Logic doesn't exist in boxing"

Uh, I guess not when your game plan is your chin.

Martinez said there is no other way, I will win the fight by KO.......That's right, Sergio said it first, so you alreay know it's a done deal.

Then there is a long pause and Sergio says "neither can you"

that ish was hard as hell

                Sergio has a 75" reach

                Julio has 73" reach

Both guys are pretty close in terms of length but Chavez is not a patient boxer at all. He will get caught trying to land those body shots because Sergio fights from a distance. Sergio is WAY smarter than he is (from what I can tell) and he knows as he commented in the video that Freddie has benefited Julio by teaching him how to fight smarter. I think he is referring to him trying to ease into fights and be less wreckless.

Just as Bernard uses mental warfare pre-fight, Sergio is doing the same. He knows that if he can get inside Julio's head and push his buttons, then Julio will totally neglect any game plan that Freddie gives him and just come out guns blazing which plays right into Sergio's hands. This will leave Julio fighting like he usually does, swinging wide and with total power.

Martinez' straighter punches will find a home a vast majority of the time. Chavez is a very emotional "kid" and he doesn't have the experience or intelligence that Sergio does. Roach will be blasting Julio out in the corner from round 1: "Come on Julio, this isn't what we worked on in the gym, follow what we talked about"

There is a reason why Sergio is talking smack this time.....he is winning a crucial part of the fight before they even get into the ring.

ive always known or thought martinez would destroy n i still think that he was on point with everything he said, chavez aint got a great defense, so i dont think its gona be a chavez that is gona try to walk thru martinez, roach is good at studying the opponents n is good with fighters with a good chin with a good offense, i think chavez will get stopped but im not so confident chavez is getting kicked too much lets see how much of a man he really is
