Ezequiel Osvaldo Maderna (18-0, 13KOs) retained his WBO Latino super middleweight crown with a ten round unanimous decision over Oscar Daniel Veliz (30-19-2, 5KOs) at the Club Banco Provincia in City Bell, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Maderna, the only Argentine representative in the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, dominated the action and tried to finish off the veteran, who hasn't been stopped since 2006. All three judges scored it 100-90 for Maderna.
