Passaic's Jose Peralta will return to the ring Sept. 8 on the Tomasz Adamek-Travis Walker undercard at Prudential Center in Newark. Peralta (9-1, 5 KOs), a developing junior welterweight prospect who trains in Paterson, is scheduled to encounter Christian Steele (3-4, 1 KO), of Staunton, Va., in a six-round, 140-pound bout. The card, promoted by Totowa-based Main Events, will begin at 2 p.m. to accommodate a pay-per-view audience in Adamek's native Poland.
