I Just Watched Trinidad vs. Wright Again....

I just watched Tito vs. Winky again and made me think, did Tito always fight with no head movement? I have seen a couple of Tito fights but never noticed his bad defense. The only one I really saw bad defense was in his fight with Hopkins, but I figured thats only because Hopkins is so good. Did he ever have good defense or did he just over power most, so we never truley knew? It might be a dumb question but I know theres some Tito fans and haters who could answer my question.

You need to see when he fought at welterweight....
He was definitely faster, & had much better movement. Yes, he was still an offense-first fighter....but there was so much more quickness & zip to him back in '93'-'98. He wasn't such a stalking-type fighter then.

He fell too in love with his ability to swing a fight with one punch.
Happens to a lot of big punchers.

He was so pathetic against Winky, he was circling the wrong way and walking right into jabs. I know he is better than that.

Trinidad just wanted the payday. He was gonna cash in on his name and then piss off back to his retirement. He didn't even care of winning against Wright, he was getting paid well to just show up!

I was thinking after watching it, if the judges EVER gave the decision to Tito, the FBI would close down the sport. Thats how one sided the compubox numbers and rounds were, it was the true meaning of a shut out.

I also think that Trinidad is a lot better fighter than he showed against Winky. He fought like garbage for a so called offensive fighter, he was more like a pedastrian in that fight.

Come on, it wasn't a moneygrab at all. If all Tito cared about was money then he'd take the $25 million to fight Oscar. For some reason a lot of boxing fans equate losing with not trying or caring and its silly. He was beaten by a superior technical fighter who gave him a matchup problem. Nothing more or less.
