I've seen a few fights of both men
Bellew - Mckenzie 1 - Bellew looked chinny but got up from heavy knockdowns and managed to get the job done allbeit with a dodgy quick stoppage.
Bellew - Mckenzie 2 - Despite the needle in the build up Bellew fought gunsy in a safety 1st perofrmance and won comforatbly. Showed he could box but also that he can be very boring when scared to be hit
Bellew vs Cleverley - Bellew got abit outclased in this one. He put up a good fight but towards teh end he was out his depth and couldnt lift his game , looked abit stuck between styles whteher he brawled or boxed Nathan had his number
Bellew vs Macintosh - Tony looked teh best Ive seen hinm but he was fighting a domestic level fighter. Good finish in this fight

Miranda vs Eastman - Mirands looked wild and lucky get a standinbg stoppage when he was hurt himself
Miranda vs Abraham 1 - Abit shameful he coouldnt beat a man with a broken jaw and he fought rough aswel.
Miranda vs Abraham 2 - Arthur upped his game but Miranda couldnt , looked abit shopworn.
Bute vs Miranda - Edison looked slow and chinny in this one

Of all the fights Ive seen Miranda iVe never been impressed but he can ****. Bellew blows hot and cold but so far his best fights have been at a low level. Fighting a washed up ex middle weight is probably a step up for him. He should win inside 8.

This is great news for Bellew, a definite KO in the making.

Why are people so pessimistic about Miranda's chances?

Look at who he's lost to, look at who Bellew has beaten.

Bellew running? I'm not from the UK but I've been sold on him for a while now. Bellew probably within 3 in this fight.

Right, but who has Chilemba beaten? Miranda couldnt beat Chilemba, no matter which bums Chilemba fought before. Miranda knows that hes beatable and hurtable, he was verry dangerous BEFORE he realized that.

People talking down on Miranda, but hes been in with the much better competition. Miranda got robbed in Germany against Abraham in the first fight there was some rough play but it was from both sides Abraham uses his head to if anything they should have taken only 2 points away for the intentional head butt by Edison but other than that it was a heated fight ref was too involved. No excuses for the 2nd fight AA tore him up but its boxing stuff like that happens look at what Williams did to Quintana in their rematch and hes not that big a puncher unlike AA.

Edison has beat Eastman, Gibbs, Sierra (Who gave Don George a beating), Green, Abraham 1st time, id say this is better than anyone Bellew has fought. The only people to KO Miranda were all undefeated punchers (Abraham, Pavlik, Bute) Bellew might be heavy handed but I dont think he has the same raw power these guys do and at light heavy I havent seen Edison badly hurt.

For the dude talking trash about Chilemba you probably havent even seen him fight he is a rangy fighter with decent pop he beat Vlasov who was undefeated at the time, and he got a draw with Oosthuizen in his native country so you know it could have gone either way.

Either way if Edison shows up in shape then he always has that punchers chance and since hes fighting in Bellews home hes going to need it because if it goes the distance im pretty sure Bellew will win on the card comfortably not saying they would rob Edison but you never know these days plus hes not the most skilled boxer although his jab is underated

Chilemba's win over Vlasov far exceeds anything on Bellew's resume. He drew at a weight below with Oosthuizen but looks like he's settling at 175lbs. Fights in a months time against the undefeated Erdei, Chilemba will put in a good performance.

Good post. And let's not forget Miranda was up 3-1 against Chilemba on the cards before the nasty headbutt that tore a huge gash above the left eye. It bothered the hell out of Miranda the rest of the fight.

Miranda needs a KO to win. I am hoping he is at 100% and pulls it off.
