Martinez Chavez Jr Face Off (Preview)

Looking forward to this one. Just hoping Chavez makes weight and there isnt any last minute changes to the plot when he come sin at 165 and expects Martinez to let him off and go ahead with the fight.

It looked like a complete mismatch a couple years back but now its a nice mix of styles in a fight that could go either way. Im going with Martinez. Chavez is strong and will be looking indestructable for 6 rounds but Martinez always gets to his opponents eventually and in the late rounds. Chavez will walk onto too many shots and unless he does anything about his defence, one of those shots will put him away or he will need to be rescued by the ref/his dad.

Call me crazy but I know Chavez Sr and when I saw that Chavez Jr extended his hands, it's like he said, "enough talking" and he looked like his father there.

I still have Martinez winning but man, I think Jr will be motivated like we have never seen. He looks fed up with the talk, fed up with the nonsense.

Also, Martinez kind of contradicted himself, he said "how can you knock something out you can't hit?" then went on to say he was going to be the one hitting as if he caught himself mid thought. Jr replied, "you really think I can't hit you?" With a smile...

I think this one is going to be better than people think. The time for Jr is NOW.
