We all know that the dynamics of punches are delicate things. Positioning, power, angle, speed. All it takes is a touch of subconcious doubt and a fighter is not putting all his tools into that punch anymore.
Peter's always punched and had people tremble, fall over and offer no opposition. Wlad did get knocked over but Peter received quite a beating in return. Suddenly Peter has the awareness that when he swings and connects, he can still be hurt. So maybe now he doesn't commit quite so much to the straight forward knockout with no defense.
Not saying this has happened, but it would be a reason.
It's a lot easier to be a brawler with no fear when you've never known defeat. Peter now has known defeat. He may have heart and pull it all back together. He has plenty of fights left in him. Time will tell.
...Good post and I think it kind of sums up Peter and what happened to him in the Wlad fight. Guys that have a bully mentality in the ring are notorious for turning out to not be the same guy once they get bullied. Time will tell.Comment

He looked thick in the middle......but used his jab well at times hell it has only been 2 and 1/2 months since the Wlad fight maybe he should have waited till after the new year to fight again but he won thats all that counts.Comment
