The WBC confirmed Vanes signing. The WBC ordered them to sign by August 10th. Lara's camp asked for an extension to give them more time as they try to make the Trout bout.

The only guys on his radar right now are Vanes and Trout. K9 has to deal with the winner of Rosado/Whittaker, and he already said that he wouldn't fight Lara. If he can't get Trout in the ring, he has no choice but to fight Vanes. The problem is that both guys want a guarantee on Canelo, and it's a legitimate gripe. I bet they (GBP and WBC) would get the winner of Lara/Vanes to fight Kirkland next, just to keep them out of Canelo's way.

Man, let these guys fight each other already so they can both STFU.

Lara never asked for a guarantee at Canelo. That was Vanes when the first bid was ordered. I think Lara pretty much gave up chasing Canelo. They all should tbh.

"...the WBC refused to stipulate a clause that legally binds Canelo to fight the winner. Without that binder, neither boxer is confident that that a victory will guarantee a fight with Canelo"

Trust that if there was a guarantee to fight Canelo, there would be no hesitation on Lara's part.
